This property backs onto Mt Kuringai National Park & the rear garden had native plants & trees that were a part of it.The client approached us to reconfigure the rear garden to be in sync with the eco system & wanted to be able to move into the garden & enjoy the ‘bush feel’. When heavy rains uprooted a couple of small trees, that gave us a perfect opportunity to bolster the native planting. We went about it with a very light hand & it has resulted in a garden that is light, fresh & an echo of the valley below.
