The standard suburban block has a front yard, a back yard & a side (S) yard. Invariably the side is a left-over space, largely neglected & is used primarily as a path for the wheelie-bin movement.
In this garden we noted that the L.H.S yard got the northern & western sun – was the ideal spot for fruits & vegetables.
